Granddaddy's House

The front of the house.....

View from the back porch. All the way at the bottom of the land is a creek.

The back porch

Fireplace

Built-in....in the den. The wood paneling (solid wood) will be painted.

Formal dining. We plan to remove the track lighting and put in a old-timey chandelier

One of the rooms........you can see the hardwoods here. Can you believe someone covered these with carpet?

Smaller bath w/ stand-up shower (needs some work)

Larger bath (but still small!) Also needs some work.....new mirrors, light fixtures, paint, facuets, etc.

So we got a ton done today. I am tired!

Love the house. The yard is fabulous. Naturally, I think that the yard and outside is great. Of course the wood floors are great, too.

Jeff and I had a similar situation with his grandad. Great house in Ozark, AL and we wanted to keep it in the family! Unfortunately we can't move to Ozark Al right now at this point of our life. You are so lucky to have such a great family heirloom! Your renovations are gonna be so rewarding!! Good luck!!
